Telling Your TRUth

Stories help us find our truth and take the next step in our journey. That’s why we’re inviting people living with advanced and metastatic breast cancer to share their experiences with diagnosis, testing, and treatment, including TRUQAP® (capivasertib) + fulvestrant.

TRUQAP + fulvestrant is a second-line treatment for people with HR+/HER2- metastatic breast cancer with abnormal PIK3CA, AKT1, and/or PTEN genes following progression on or after hormone therapy.

An Essential Tool for Finding Your TRUth

Breast Cancer Biomarker Testing Importance Icon Breast Cancer Biomarker Testing Importance Icon

When you’ve been diagnosed with advanced or metastatic breast cancer, it’s important to get tested for specific biomarkers—genetic indicators of what’s happening inside your body.

Biomarkers can tell your doctor if there are abnormal changes to the genes in your tumor cells. These changes, called alterations or mutations, can contribute to the growth and spread of your cancer. Knowing if you have a targetable biomarker can help determine which treatments may be right for you.

For people with advanced or metastatic breast cancer, biomarker testing may help identify specific genes, proteins, or other molecules, including potentially abnormal changes in the PIK3CA, AKT1, and/or PTEN genes. These changes can drive disease progression. Ask your doctor about biomarker testing.

If you have HR+/HER2- metastatic breast cancer that has progressed on or after hormone therapy, and you test positive for abnormal PIK3CA, AKT1, and/or PTEN genes, then TRUQAP + fulvestrant may be a treatment option for you. TRUQAP + fulvestrant is a second-line treatment that disrupts the signals that drive cancer growth.

Talk to your doctor about getting tested and learning about treatment options.
